The Journey to Regenerative Tourism
Training Programme
The world is going through a very important transition. All around the globe, communities, organisations, and businesses are realising the flaws of an outdated system after suffering the consequences of the climate crisis and biodiversity loss. Consumers are also demanding that businesses make significant changes to their extractive models. It is already happening.
And
tourism is part of it. It is a wonderful but fragile industry, which can collapse in the face of global crises like COVID-19. But it also has the power to impact a community and their environment deeply, for the better and the worse.
How do we adapt? How do we become more resilient and abundant? How do we make a real, transformative impact within our businesses and in the host destinations?
We need to be ready; for our own good.
If you want to be part of the regenerative tourism community already learning the skills to be innovative, be responsive to changes, and create the conditions for their staff, local partners, and destinations to thrive, read on.
I have created a training programme that is divided into 3 main areas:
1) Culture & Stewardship.
2) Value chain.
3) Product offering.
But as a tourism professional myself, I know how busy it can get. We keep postponing it because it’s never the right time.
But the time is now.
I have structured this training programme like a journey with several stops. That way, you will be able to immerse yourself for short periods (in each stop) and then have some time off to reflect on the learnings and start implementing them step by step.

The Discovery of Regenerative Tourism
Introductory Online Course
(In English & Spanish)
Learn about what regenerative tourism is, where it comes from, its fundamental principles and how these can be applied in practice, examples as well as case studies in the world and some practical exercises.

2nd Stop:
Module 1 - Culture & Stewardship
Creating the conditions for
people to thrive in your organisation
(In English. Possibility of Spanish as well if we gather a minimum of 4 people)
Work on your organisational culture, identity, and common purpose, to make people proud to work for you and with you.
How do you create the conditions for people to thrive, be empowered, stay loyal to your organisation, and help you with your purpose?

3rd Stop:
Module 2 - Value Chain
Creating meaningful partnerships
(In English. Possibility of Spanish as well if we gather a minimum of 4 people)
Create collaborations that will strengthen bonds and will increase the impact.
Create a team culture with your local suppliers and your client agencies that will help you work towards a common purpose and build a relationship that will have multiple benefits: customer satisfaction, staff happiness, and a bigger social and environmental impact.

4th Stop:
Module 3 - Product Offering
Creating the best experiences for the world
(In English. Possibility of Spanish as well if we gather a minimum of 4 people)
Create innovative and transformational experiences with the local hosts that will make your clients have a one in a lifetime experience and will benefit the social and ecological systems.
These experiences will create repeat customers and bonds with your local partners. And your staff will be proud to work for you!
